1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use edremedi.in or ask Edremedi to match you with an educator. "Edremedi", "we" and "us" mean the MSME (Udyam) registered enterprise operating edremedi.in from Nagpur, Maharashtra. By using the website or our service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

2. What Edremedi is, and is not

Edremedi is an aggregator platform. We introduce parents to educators, verify educators as described below, and provide tools such as progress logs. Educators are independent professionals or students. They are not our employees, agents or partners, and the lessons are delivered by them, not by Edremedi.

We are not a school, a coaching institute or a medical or therapy provider. Nothing on our website or from our team is medical advice or a clinical diagnosis.

3. Who can use the service

Parents and legal guardians who are at least 18 years old may request tutoring for a child in their care. Educators must be at least 18 years old and complete our verification process. If you give us information about a child, you confirm you are the child's parent or legal guardian.

4. Verification, and its limits

Before an educator is matched with a family, we check a government ID, local address proof and college or qualification credentials, and the educator signs our Code of Conduct. Verification is a screening step taken at a point in time. It reduces risk, but it is not a guarantee of any person's future conduct, skill or results.

5. Parents' responsibilities

• Give us accurate information.
• Check the educator's Edremedi ID card, and the verification page linked from its QR code, before the first lesson.
• Provide a safe environment. We recommend lessons take place in a common area of your home with an adult on the premises.
• Tell us promptly about any concern, and stop a session if something does not feel right.

6. Educators' responsibilities

• Give us accurate, genuine documents and credentials.
• Follow the Code of Conduct at all times, including the rule against unmonitored isolation with a child.
• Keep progress logs honestly, and keep families' information confidential.

We may decline or remove an educator or a request at any time, for example if verification fails or the Code of Conduct is broken.

7. Fees

Edremedi does not take a recurring monthly commission from educators' earnings. Our charges follow a transparent one-time matching fee or flat platform access model. We tell you the amount before you commit, and any applicable taxes are stated with it.

8. Refund and cancellation policy

This section covers Edremedi's own fees.

• Before a match is confirmed: you can cancel at any time, and any fee you have paid is refunded in full.
• If we cannot find a suitable educator: we refund the matching fee in full.
• After a match: the matching fee is not refundable once the first lesson has taken place. If the match is not working, tell us and we will help you find another educator wherever we can.
• How refunds are paid: approved refunds go back to the original payment method within 7 to 10 working days.

9. No guarantee of results

Good tutoring helps, but we cannot promise particular marks, grades, ranks or exam results. Outcomes depend on many things, including the student's effort and circumstances.

10. Limits on our liability

As an aggregator, we are not responsible for the acts or omissions of educators or families. To the extent the law allows, Edremedi is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for disputes between parents and educators. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot legally be limited, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our own negligence.

11. Your information

How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Nagpur, Maharashtra have jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any rights you have under consumer protection law.
