Edremedi is a hyper-local, ethical home tutoring and remedial support micro-enterprise. We exist to bring trust and transparency to a market that has had very little of either.
Why Edremedi exists
Private tuition in Nagpur runs mostly through informal agents. Many take up to 30% of a tutor's fee every month, for as long as the lessons continue. Many also send people nobody has properly checked.
Tutors lose income. Parents cannot tell who is coming through their door. Neither is a small problem when the person is teaching a child at home.
Our mission: to bring trust, transparency and good teaching to home tutoring, by connecting parents directly with verified remedial professionals and worthy student-tutors, under a fair, non-extractive fee structure.
What we stand for
Trust
Every educator is verified before they meet a child: government ID, address proof, credentials and a signed Code of Conduct. Parents can check any educator by scanning their ID card.
Transparency
No hidden monthly cuts. A one-time matching fee or flat platform access model, explained before anyone commits.
Good pedagogy
Two tiers, so the help fits the need: certified remedial specialists for specialised support, and top student-tutors for homework and revision. Progress is logged and reviewed with parents every month.
